I found this beautiful place when volunteering for the Limerick Animal Welfare Sanctuary near Kilfinnane in County Limerick. Volunteer tasks included socialisation of dogs, so we were asked to take them for walks and if there was time, to walk up to the forest line, and this scene was part of that walk. Most of Ireland is gentle hilly country like this, with many nice walking routes. Ballyhoura Country is largely undiscovered by visitors outside of Ireland, but well worth checking out.
