Drawn on location on another great day. Dolf had heard of this tiny fishing harbour near Derrynane Strand, so once there I sat down and made this drawing - at the time I was really only trying out the Derwent Inktense blocks. But it's the islands that always get to me, I get to thinking about how it must have been for the people who lived on them long ago, how to survive bad weather, and the terrible risk of illness when you couldn't take a boat to the mainland to get help.
